The six-member Ministerial Committee announced that the feelings of the Pakistanis have been upheld and thus the machine-readable passports would have the words "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" on the cover and one's religion stamped conspicuously inside.
The MMA terms it a victory while the Information Minister is still figuring out how many people were in the Million-Man march.
A question for the respected Ministers: Since there are still a lot of the old machine-readable passports in stock, could these be given at a premium to those Muslims who adhere to the concept of enlightened moderation?
