Singapore bunker prices eased on Monday, tracking marginally lower fuel oil cargo values. Prices for 380-cst bunker fuel were pegged at $233-$235 a tonne, down $1 from last Thursday, but the differential to cargo prices were maintained at $1.63 a tonne. "There's not much difference between today and last Thursday. Suppliers are still uncertain which way to go so many just kept their offers conservative until a clearer direction emerges," a Singapore-based bunker supplier said.
"Most sellers are already quoting April barrels although there is still some prompt demand for March deliveries. Not many suppliers are still able to sell March cargoes unless buyers are willing to pay hefty premiums."
