Petronas starts supply to SNGPL

Malaysian oil and gas company, Petronas Carigali, has started injecting 15mmcfd gas to the transmission system of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL). Official sources said Petronas is likely to enhance its production to 60mmcfd in coming months. The company's plant is located at Ghotki near Sukkur. They informed that to give further boost to exploration activity in the country, the government was likely to issue more exploration licenses especially in the offshore sector that has remained neglected so far.
