Another shallow westerly wave prevailing on western parts
KARACHI: The Met Office on Monday said that another shallow westerly wave was prevailing over the western parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan, however, forecast a dry weather in the country during the next 24 hours.
It says except Gilgit-Baltistan and northern Balochistan where isolated rain and thunderstorm are likely to fall in the next 24 hours, mainly dry weather is expected to remain in most parts of the country.
It says that isolated rain with thunderstorm hit Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan in the last 24 hours, adding that the highest temperature was 39 degree centigrade in Noorpur Thal.
Karachi weather is also expected dry with maximum temperature between 31 degree centigrade and 33 degree centigrade in the next 24 hours, the forecaster says.
