ISLAMABAD: The newly appointed Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf said that he would come up to the expectations of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that cricket could play a better role to build a good image of any country in the world and PCB will take all possible steps for the betterment of cricket.
Zaka Ashraf said that for the better performance of players "we should stop the bookies and all decisions would be taken in consultation with the board", he added.
"Its my wish to encourage everyone in the board to focus on his own work and don't interfere in others' business and my job is to improve overall performance," the chairman said.
He said that it would be the priority of PCB to restore the International cricket in the country.
