Maaza Pakistan is a Franchise of Maaza International LLC Dubai. This is a registered trade mark in over 19 counties the world, including South Asia, America, Europe, Meddle east and the Gulf regions.
THE PARENT GROUP: MAAZA INTERNATIONAL: The Brand name Maaza was launched for the first time in the 1970's by an American Indian Company known as "Maaza Beverages inc" incorporated in New York USA, in co-operation of Parle Exporters Co-operation of India.
The Franchising rights of the trade mark "Maaza" were acquired by the Al-Omran Group of Companies in 1990's under the umbrella of Maaza International Co-operation with its Head Office in UAE Dubai.
Al-Omran Group of Companies is a global giant, holding the following enterprises:

MAAZA A QUALITY BENCH MARK: The name Maaza is derived from an Arabic word "Almaz" meaning Diamonds. Standing true to its name Maaza is synonymous with purity, originality and a high quality worth. This quality is derived from the prime breeds of Mango pulp used which is Chaunsa.
Chaunsa is the most expensive breed of Mango all over the world, with a Brix range of 22-25 which is superior than all international Mango breeds.
CORE BUSINESS JUICES: The core business is manufacturing and bottling of fruit juices. Maaza Pakistan has a State of the Art imported Juice plant with a production capacity of 6000 liters of juice hour and 300 bottles per minute.
The current product Line includes: Maaza Mango, Orange and Guava flavours
The bottling/Packaging line includes:
-- A 250 ml/0.4 liter line
-- A 1500 ml/1.5 liter line
-- A 5000 ml/5 liter Pouch Pack filling line.
(All lines are imported from Italy and Germany)
FRUTI PULP: Maaza Pakistan has a very sophisticated Pulping plant for a wide range of fruit Pulps.
With a production capacity of 4 to 5 tons of pulp per hour, we are currently providing prime quality pulp to:
-- The Pakistan/Local Market
-- International Market
-- Parent Group Union Beverages
FACTORY: We produced 2500 tons of mango pulp in 2004 for two breeds Chaunsa and Sindhri and plan to increase it up to 5000 tons in 2005. The pulp exports approximated to $20M this year and have prospective orders of $3B the upcoming year 2005.
INTERNATIONAL MARKET-EXPORTS: JUICE EXPORTS Maaza mango juice and Pulp enjoy a profound international demand. There are potential export clients in Afghanistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Sri Lanka for Maaza juices. Our Export bill for Maaza juices equalled to $30M in year 2004 and we have a prospective growth of 40% in year 2005 based on the brand extension of new flavours and a new product line introduction.
PULP EXPORTS: The export market for Pulp is highly prospective for Maaza. We enjoy a credible list of international clients for mango pulp in the Middle East, Gulf, Far Eastern and European regions.
FUTURE PLANS: The Beverage industry of Pakistan shows an encouraging growth of 14% per annum. Maaza is a bench mark of quality and has an aggressive road map to lead the juice market of Pakistan. As for prospective Plans, Maaza is planning Market penetration and diversification through:
-- Product Line/Flavour Extension (Juice)
-- New Product Development (Juice Drink)
-- Pulp Production of other Fruits (Guava, Orange)
INTRODUCTION OF FRUIT JUICE DRINKS: Maaza will enlarger its consumer market base through introducing a fruit Juice Drink Line with the following parameters: The Fruit Juice Drink will bear the token endorsement of the Brand Maaza. It will cater to Rs 10 coinage consumer price parity segments. This product line will provide a value for money proposition to the Middle and lower income segments of the Pakistani consumer.
ENRICHMENT OF FRUIT PULP PRODUCTION: Pakistan has abundant food cultivation and is blessed with a wide variety of fruit and vegetable crops. Maaza intends to bring this food goodness to the people in form of superior quality Pulp in the national and international markets. We also plan to enter other value added products of fruits in the global markets.
