BMA Pakistan Government Bond Index (BMA-PGBI) yield moved upward by 4 bps, which moved Index value down by 10 bps to 96.0816. PIBs remained volatile throughout the day. Market opened on higher yields, went down, and again closed at higher levels. The reason quoted behind this volatility was a whisper about corporate buying that did not seem to materialise due to which market closed on higher yield level.
