Secretary General Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) Dr Jabbar Khattak on Wednesday said meeting of CPNE Standing Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 10:30am in Hotel Avari Lahore. Meeting will be presided over by CPNE President Arif Nizami, it would consider press freedom in Pakistan in the context of World Press Freedom Day, government-press relations, media complaint commission, new applications received for CPNE membership, reports of sub-committees and organisational matters.
He asked all CPNE members to attend the meeting.
