The first meeting of the Advisory Board of the Pakistan Hockey Eederation (PHF) will be held here on Saturday which will be followed by the Council meeting. It would be first meeting of the 11-member board established by the President, PHF, Tariq Kirmani to access its so far working, said Brigadier Musarratullah Khan (Retd), Secretary, PHF said on Friday. He said the Board has been given the task of revitalisation of hockey, the brainchild of the President PHF, seeking sponsorship for establishing hockey as a prime sport, and chalking out an activity plan at grassroots level for the overall development of the game.
The PHF official said the Advisory Board members have been assigned different tasks for the overall uplift of the game and the meeting will reveal the input they have contributed and their respective fields.
After chairing the advisory board meeting the President PHF will preside over the 27-member Council meeting, he added.
