Chairman Senate Mohammedmian Soomro has expressed his grave concern over the reports that hundreds of people in Sindh, particularly those of Jaccobabad and its surrounding areas, were suffering from gastro-enteritis and other such diseases due to use of contaminated water. Soomro has taken up the matter with the provincial government and directed them to take precautionary measures and provide immediate medical assistance to the affected people, said a press release issued here Saturday.
