Sindh Chief Secretary Mohammed Aslam Sanrjrani has said that three coal field reserves in Sindh are a great asset for Sindh province as the energy to be generated through coal would meet our power requirements abundantly for over 50 years. He was addressing the under-training officers from NIPA Peshawar, now on a study tour here, who called on him at his office. Sanjrani told the visitors that with improving law and order in Sindh, big development projects were being implemented with the co-operation of federal and provincial governments.
He cited some of these projects as RBOD, K-111 additional 100 Mgd water project, Lyari Expressway and Northern Bypass, FTC, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Shah Faisal Colony/Shahrah-e-Faisal, Hino Chowk flyovers, extension and development of main Korangi road from Korangi crossing to Quaidabad and extension of Moulvi Tameezuddin Khan road.
The chief secretary pointed out that Karachi-based federal government departments like KPT, CAA, PQA, EPZA, DHA, Pakistan Steel etc being stakeholders, are also participating in the development of Karachi.
He advised the visiting officers to work with a sense of commitment and serve the nation devotedly as real civil servants.
