PepsiCo Inc said on Wednesday it raised its quarterly dividend 13 percent to 26 cents a share from 23 cents a share. The company, which last raised its dividend in March 2004, declined to give a reason for the increase. It had $681 million in cash and equivalents on its balance sheet as of March 19, 2005, according to its last financial results. The company, brands of which include Pepsi, Gatorade and Doritos, said the new dividend is payable on June 30 to shareholders of record as of June 10.
