The Establishment Division notified late on Wednesday night that the promotion of Syed Asif Shah and transfer to the post of Secretary, Information Technology and Telecommunication Division, has been cancelled with immediate effect. "The Establishment Division's notification of even number dated May 4, 2005 regarding promotion of Syed Asif Shah, a BS-21 officer of the District Management Group, to BS-22 and transfer to the post of Secretary, Information Technology and Telecommunication Division, has been cancelled with immediate effect," a notification said.
According to another notification, Syed Bilal Ahmed, a BS-22 officer of the Secretariat Group, presently Special Secretary, Finance Division (Military), Rawalpindi, has been transferred and posted as OSD, Establishment Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.
