Ambassador-designates from six countries on Wednesday presented their credentials to President General Pervez Musharraf at the Aiwane-Sadr. They arrived separately at the President House and were presented guard of honour by a contingent of Pakistan Army. National anthem of Pakistan and their respective countries were played. The envoys-designate who presented their credentials were Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Korea to Pakistan Kim Joo- Seok, Ambassador-designate of Spain to Pakistan Jose Maria Robles Fraga, Ambassador-designate of Syrian Arab Republic to Pakistan Dr Mohammad Riad Hussain Ismat, Ambassador-designate of Portugal to Pakistan Dr Antonio Jose da Camara Ramalho Orgigao, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Croatia to Pakistan (based in Tehran) Marjan Kambol and Ambassador-designate of Zambia to Pakistan (based in Beijing), David Clifford Saviya.
Later, the envoys separately called, on President General Pervez Musharraf and discussed with him matters of mutual interest.
