Argentina export commitments of 2004/05 wheat totalled 8.86 million tonnes by May 27, up from 8.765 million tonnes a weak earlier, the Agriculture Secretariat said on Monday. By the same date last year, Argentina had sold 4.935 million tonnes. Argentina reported sales last week of 50,000 tonnes to Brazil and 45,000 tonnes to unspecified destinations. Farmers finished harvesting the 2004/05 wheat crop in January.
