The leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference's moderate group will arrive here on Thursday. The ten-member delegation of the Hurriyat leaders belonging to Ansari Group, including Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Moulvi Abbas Ansari, Abdul Ghani Bhat, Bilal Ghani Lone would arrive at Chakothi at 1.00 pm. The APHC will be accorded a rousing welcome at the Line of Control (LoC). Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister, Sardar Sikandar Hayat and the members of the cabinet, former AJK prime minister, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan, opposition leader Barrister Sultan Mehmood, PPP AJK President, Sahibzada Muhammad Ishaq Zafar and other leaders of Azad Kashmir's political and religious parties and high officials will receive them at bridge near Chakothi.
The Hurriyat delegation will travel to Muzaffarabad on private vehicles amid tight security and with state protocol, though 5th Kashmir service buses will roll on as per schedule. The APHC leaders will address a news conference at a local hotel in the AJK Capital soon after their arrival.
AJK President, Sardar Muhammad Anwer Khan will host a dinner in the honour of visiting IOK leaders while Sardar Sikandar Hayat and heads of various political parties functioning in the state will host lunches and dinners in their honour during their three-day stay in the AJK.
The visiting delegation will also attend the joint sitting of AJK Legislative Assembly and the Council on Friday.
Two Hurriyat leaders Nazir Ahmed Ronga and Shahid-ul-Islam have already arrived in Pakistan via Wagah Border.
Information Adviser to AJK Prime Minister, Noreen Arif told reporters here on Wednesday that the Hurriyat leaders will be given a warm welcome at Chakothi and Muzaffarabad. She said that their visit to the AJK would help in uniting the Kashmiri leadership of both sides on one agenda.
Noreen said that Syed Ali Geelani is a mature leader and he should have accepted the invitation. She hoped the AJK politicians and journalists would be allowed to visit occupied Kashmir after the visit of Hurriyat Leaders.
