Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Najam Rehan has expressed shock over the losses of life and property caused by land-sliding in Dewal Shrif (Murree) few days ago. He asked the government to take measures for restoration of the affected people and underlined the need for joint efforts against natural disasters.
In a statement issued on Friday, he said the RCCI would struggle at their level best for restoration of the affectees, adding in that connection the first consignment of the edibles had been sent to the area.
It may be recalled that several people were wounded due to land sliding in Osia village, Dewal Sharif some days ago. Dozens of houses either were collapsed completely or damaged partially in the incident.
