The Kashmiri leaders belonging to All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) were given a rousing welcome when they flew in here on Thursday on a 2-day visit to the city. Present on the occasion to greet the Kashmiri leaders was Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and some of his cabinet ministers besides local Kashmiri leaders and workers.
From the airport, the Kashmiri leaders who included Mir Waiz Umer Farooq, directly drove to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah where they laid wreath and offered Fateha for the departed soul of founder of Pakistan.
After a quite lunch at their hotel, the Kashmiri leaders will be taken to a sea cruise and later attend a dinner hosted by Sindh Chief Minister at Chief Minister House.
On Friday, the Kashmiri, leaders are scheduled to meet the press and later have a call on the Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan at Governor House.
