Provincial Minister for Agricultural Marketing, Rana Qasim Noon has said that government would spend a total of Rs 32.295 million on various projects of fish farming development. Talking to a number of fish farmers at his office here on Saturday, the minister pointed out that the objective of these schemes is to increase the fish production through new research in the fish farming sector. Rs 19 million has been earmarked to augment the use of fish as diet.
He said another project of 'Fish Seed Production Units' had also been launched with Rs 18.87 million.
