Chairman Senate, Mohammedmian Soomro has called for taking immediate preventive measures to avert possible flood threats in certain areas of the country. While expressing sympathies with the flood victims, Chairman Senate appreciated the role of Armed Forces and Provincial Governments in carrying out relief activities to avoid loss of life and property in flood hit areas, said a press release issued here Wednesday.
Soomro said that he was constantly in touch with relevant authorities and expressed satisfaction that necessary steps had been taken to provide all possible assistance and relief to the victims.
