Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) will organise a one-day presentation on July 7 on "Mobile Technology Evolution from 2G to 3G" in a local hotel.
Chairman PTA Major General Shahzada Alam Malik (Retd) will preside over the function while Abdul Durani of Telefocal Asia, Singapore will deliver a detailed presentation regarding shift of cellular mobile technology from 2nd generation to 3rd generation and its impact on telecom industry.
The first session will focus on generation of mobile networks. 3 G technology benefits and 3 G commercial trends and market opportunities in Europe. Asia and North America whereas in second session issues related to commercial frequency management policy, administrative procedures and technical guidelines will be discussed. Telecom experts, representatives of different telecom operators and academicians will attend the presentation.
