The Faisalabad Electric Supply Co (Fesco) has advised power consumers to adopt necessary measures to avoid electricity-related mishaps during the monsoon season. A spokesman of Fesco urged the people not to use metal wires for clothes drying and recommended non-conductor ropes for this purpose.
He said 3-pin plugs should be used for electric irons, washing machines, refrigerators, water pumps and other electric appliances, and observed that wood in some form should be kept handy while using such gadgets.
