Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) lawmakers on Thursday strongly condemned torching of the MQM sector office at Lyari by unknown persons and termed it "conspiracy to sabotage peace of the city". In a joint statement issued here on Thursday evening, the MQM lawmakers said setting MQM sector office Old Lyari area was an ample evidence that some elements were attempting to destroy peace of the city for getting the forthcoming local bodies' polls postponed.
Flaying the incident, they said such tactics were attempted to provoke MQM workers. They appealed to workers to remain patience and foil enemies' bid for getting the LB elections postponed.
