The moon crossed the conjunction line at 0805 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) yesterday (Friday). The time of sunset today is 1914 PST, and the time of evening civil twilight (ECTL) is 1938 PST. The moon will set at 2015 PST.
Thus the age of the new moon will be 35 hours and 33 minutes at ECTL. It will set 61 minutes after sunset and 37 minutes after ECTL.
At the time of ECTL the moon will be at an altitude of seven degrees and 44 minutes and at an azimuth of 282 degrees and 37 minutes.
Therefore, there is a very good chance of sighting the Rajab moon today.
