Musharraf's response to Blair's accusation lauded

The Asian Age has appreciated President General Musharraf's response to Tony Blair's accusation on Pakistan. In an editorial published recently, it pointed out that President Musharraf rightly said the problems also laid in Britain and Tony Blair should put his own house in order instead of pointing fingers at others.
Analysing General Musharraf's efforts, the editorial said General Musharraf's indignation at the West's constant pressure on Pakistan is not entirely unjustified. Islamabad has been a key ally in the US led war on terrorism.
In the past four years, Pakistan has arrested more than 700 al Qaeda members including top leaders like Abu Faraj Al-Libbi. Pakistan army eliminated more than 300 militants in South Waziristan.
By taking on such formidable foes like Osama Bin Laden, General Musharraf had endangered not only his own life but also the stability of his country, it added.
