The Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned the proceedings till August 16, in a petition filed for recovery of Zubair Qayyum and six others, as the principal secretary to Governor Punjab did not appear before the court.
The officials of a law-enforcing agency allegedly took the detainees into custody, as Punjab police had informed the court the detainees were not with them. The court had called principal secretaries of Governor and Chief Minister.
