The news, based on a circular of the Customs Appraisement Collectorate, was published on page 3 of the August 7 issue of Business Recorder, regarding the seizure of a container, with 9,048 bottles of liquor worth over Rs 6.38 million, that was incorrectly said to belong to the National Foods Limited. In fact, the container belonged to the International Foods and not the National Foods Limited.
The Collector of the Appraisement Collectorate has accepted his department's mistake in misinforming the press. The error, for which the paper was in no way responsible, is, however, regretted.-Editor
