The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the District Education Officer (DEO) Lahore, to release the salary of the petitioner, Tahira Batool, Principal Pilot Secondary School and submit a report. The petitioner had approached the court against her transfer with prayer to declare the same as illegal and unconstitutional.
The petitioner through her counsel, M.D. Tahir contended that one Shakoran Bibi had stopped the salary of the petitioner. When the law officer informed the court that the petitioner has been transferred, the court observed that how the salary of the petitioner could be stopped despite her transfer. The court therefore, directed the DEO to release her salary and submit a report.
