Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were lower at midmorning on Wednesday, weighed by light to moderate fund selling amid a lack of supportive news, traders said.
Pressure also stemmed from the wheat options pit, where FC Stone bought 1,800 December $3.10 puts, traders said.
As of 11:05 am CDT (1605 GMT), September wheat was down 4 cents at $3.13-1/4 per bushel, with December down 3-3/4 at $3.27-3/4.
