The bilateral trade between India and Pakistan increased by 74 percent during the last fiscal year, Voice of America reported. The trade between two countries was worth $344 million, which touched the figure of $400 million current year.
A joint study group under the leadership of secretaries of trade and commerce of both the countries has been looking for new possibilities of promoting bilateral trade. The statement expressed pleasure as Pakistan has issued green signal for 83 new Indian items. Pakistan is considering imports of more products from India on New Delhi's request VOA reported.
