Tremors were felt in India's financial capital on Tuesday, the meteorological office said, but had no immediate details of their intensity. "There were tremors. We need some time to analyse charts and locate the epicentre," said a senior official at the India Meteorological Department's Mumbai office.
A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 shook the town of Koyna in western India in March and was also felt in Mumbai, formerly Bombay.
