Bulls returned in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed broad-based recovery under the lead of trend-setters amid increase in index. ISE Network index showed an improvement of 94.67 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,301.52 to 11,396.19 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 2,030,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,500,400 shares. Total 117 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (78) closed in positive territory, 38 showed minus signs whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The overall volume of PTCL was 1,265,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 852,900 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 583,400 shares as compared to previous turnover of 559,200 shares. The volume of Kot Adu Power was 65,000 shares.
