A group of unidentified armed dacoits shot dead one landlord Muhammad Iqbal Cheema while resisting to a dacoity bid in his house here at village Kot Chadu-Begowala, Sambrial Wednesday night.
Reportedly, three armed dacoits stormed into the house and took hostage all family members at gunpoint and sooner shot Cheema who had resorted to resistance. Later, the culprits fled with the booty. Begowala police have registered the case and investigating.
