Proceedings against 92 education employees initiated

Executive District Officer (Education) Gujranwala has proceeded against as many as 92 employees mostly teachers on the charges of absence from duty during the last three years.
As many as 35 teachers were found innocent and exonerated while 14 were awarded penalty of censure. Four of accused teachers were awarded major penalty of removal from service. Six were reverted to lower scale while rests were penalised with stoppage of increment for various terms ranging from one to four years.
