The Incharge & Co-ordinator of Kalam-Mahodand 4x4 Jeep Rally, SSP Farooq Azam has informed that the last date for submission of registration forms for participation in the rally which was earlier fixed as 17th September 2005 has been extended up to 23rd instant.
He informed that different organisations have shown their interest in the rally adding that the Pakistan Red Crescent Society has offered provision of 10 tents, 12,000 meals, medicines, one ambulance with two doctors for the free medical camp being held in Kalam area.
He further informed that more than 900 students and volunteers including students from Engineering University Taxila, Engineering College Abbottabad, Engineering University Peshawar, Edwards College, Peshawar Public Schools and College, local schools of district Swat and boy scouts have confirmed their participation in the rally related voluntary duties.
