Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has declared former District Nazim Raja Tariq Mehboob Kiani as unanimous opposition candidate for District Nazim slot while Anjum Farooq Paracha was declared party candidate for Rawal Town, and announced support to Mukhtar Abbas in Potohar Town.
PPP-P Secretary General Raja Pervaiz Ashraf disclosed this here on Tuesday while addressing a press conference. Senior PPP leaders and MNAs Nayyer Bokhari and Zamrud Khan were also present on the occasion.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said PPP believed in quality and capacity of the people having a spirit to serve masses and resolve their problems. "Raja Tariq Kiani is a potential candidate and would definitely be unanimous candidate of the opposition parties", he added.
