Wattoo's appeal referred to LHC Chief Justice

A division bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) referred an appeal filed by former Punjab chief minister Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo to Chief Justice of the LHC for constitution of other bench, as one of member of the bench Justice Shabbar Raza Rizvi refused to hear the appeal for being his counsel in the past.
The accused has challenged the decision of an accountability court convicting him in a reference pertaining to allotment of a piece of land for a petrol pump in relaxation of rules and regulations in his capacity as the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) chairman.
