Wheat down Rs 5, garda Punjab up Rs 25

Downward trend persisted in the grain market on Friday as most of the participants kept on the sidelines due to steady supply position, dealers said.
On the cereals side, Barley Sindh and Mardan low and superior types quoted at Rs 1300-1310, respectively.
Wheat Mexipak old and new both were lower by Rs 5 to Rs 1095 and Rs 1105, they said.
Only one change was seen on the grams side, where Garda Punjab low type gained Rs 25 to Rs 1875 while the good type quoted at Rs 1925.
Except cotton seed oilcake fluctuated negatively on the seed sector owing to satisfactory arrival news, shedding Rs five to Rs 390-410.
