Tributes paid to Rafiq Baig

Management and staff of the National Bank of Pakistan paid rich tribute to Late Mirza Rafiq Baig, for his excellent services towards promotion of remarkable industrial peace in National Bank of Pakistan.
Mirza Rafiq Baig, Secretary General of NBP Employees Front Head Office was a senior trade union leader in the banking industry who devoted his energies for the progress of the bank and prosperity of the staff.
His positive approach as a trade union leader helped the bank to attain progress, which ultimately won better pay packages and employment facilities.
Syed Ali Raza, President, National Bank of Pakistan, expressed deep sorrow and praised the departed trade unionist for his meritorious services for maintenance of industrial peace in the bank. The Namaz-e-Janaza would be held at Al-Gillani Masjid, Block 13-A, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, after Namaz-e-Asar on September 27, 2005.-PR
