'EOBI to be made viable, progressive body'

Federal Secretary Labour, Manpower & Overseas Pakistanis Malik Asif Hayat presided over the 74th board of trustees meeting at the EOBI Head Office here on Wednesday.
Secretary labour expressed the hope that new chairman of EOBI Brigadier Akhter Zamin (Retd) will make a turnaround in EOBI. Brigadier Akhtar Zamin (Retd) assured him that he would leave no stone unturned to make the institution a viable, modern and progressive organisation of the country to add it to the list of success stories of the country.
The meeting was attended among others by the Financial Advisor Jumman J. Jamroo, Joint Secretary Malik Ehsan Akhter, Secretary Labour Punjab, Major Shahnawaz Badar (Retd), Secretary Labour Sindh, Syed Mahmood Javed, employers representatives of provinces, Nooruddin F. Daud (NWFP), Nazim F. Haji (Sindh), employees representatives, Muhammad Zaman (NWFP), Abdul Aziz Abbassi, (Sindh), Chaudhry Zaheer Ahmad Taj (Punjab), Sultan Muhammad (Balochistan).
