Establishment of Madadgar-15 centres will strengthen community policing system and help create an atmosphere of friendship between police and citizens friendship as well as bringing a positive change in the police attitude.
Inspector General of Police Asad Jahangir stated this on Tuesday while addressing certificates and awards distribution ceremony held in the Korangi Industrial Area.
Crimes could be eliminated with peoples' co-operation, and Madadgar-15 centres were set up keeping this concept, he added.
He disclosed Clifton town had launched a website while Karachi would soon have a website that would enable citizens to get immediate police response and assistance, besides necessary information. The citizens would also be able to register their home servants by filling a form on the website.
