President of United Memon Jamaat of Pakistan (UMJP), former Justice Abdul Hafeez Memon died of heart attack here on Thursday. This was announced in a statement of the UMJP issued here.
It said that the deceased had remained the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court and also served as the Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Hafeez Memon had been the President of UMJP since December 1980. His 'Namaz-e-Janaza would be offered on Friday at 2.30 pm at Masjid-e-Usman, Seaview, Clifton. Seth Yahya Ahmed Bawani, Senior Vice-President of UMJP, Abdul Jabbar Khamisani, Salim Tabani, Haji Siddiq Polani and Ashfaq Ahmed Memon have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Hafeez Memon.
