The official spokesman of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Mian Nauman Kabir, has demanded of the Chairman Central Board of Revenue Muhammad Abdullah Yousaf to extend date for filing of income tax returns.
In a statement issued on Friday, the spokesman urged the CBR chairman to grant an extension of 15-days in the date for filing of income tax returns as a large number of LCCI member firms and trade bodies/associations could not file their tax returns for the year 2005.
He said that LCCI has been approached by member firms to forward a request to the CBR for extension in date for filing of income tax returns.-PR
