US Open champion Kim Clijsters, the top seed, claimed her fourth consecutive title at the 585,000-dollar (480,000 euros) WTA final here on Sunday beating Germany's Anna-Lena Groenfeld in straight sets.
The 6-2, 6-4 win, achieved in one hour 12 minutes play, gave the world number three her fifth title in Luxembourg.
Clijsters outclassed her 23rd-ranked opponent breaking twice to wrap up the first set in 33 mintues.
The Belgian broke in the first game of the second set but 20-year-old Groenefeld broke back immediately 1-1 and kept up with a break for 4-4. Clijsters rolled off the next two games taking the match on her service.
It is the Belgian player's 29th career title and eighth this year out of 13 events contested.
Clijsters won her first WTA title here in 1999 and went on to win again in 2001, 2002 and 2003. She missed last year's event through injury.
Clijsters added to her 21-match winning streak with her last defeat coming in San Diego by China's Shuai Peng on August 6.
