Upward trend persisted on the cottonseed oilcake market on Monday as buyers showed persistent interest in fresh buying on fears of further rise in the prices, dealers said.
The December vaida opened unchanged at Rs 419.80. Later, it gained Rs 4.00 to be day's best at Rs 423.80. During the day, it lost Rs 2.30 to be day's lowest at Rs 421.50 and closing was seen at Rs 423.20.
The January vaida remained unchanged at Rs 427.00, dealers said.
