Secretary General of the Pakistan People's Party, AJK, Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin has called upon the government of Pakistan to take the opposition parties into confidence regarding dialogue with India on Kashmir.
Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday he said that the PPP was supporter of the unity of the Kashmir and would rigorously oppose any effort to divide it.
He called upon the government of Pakistan to take the leaders of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the Pakistani opposition parties into confidence concerning ongoing peace process with India and progress towards negotiated settlement of Kashmir. He also said that his party would support any effort that could pave the way for peaceful solution of the dispute.
Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin said that Pakistan was facing leadership crisis in the absence of Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif. He demanded that both the leaders should be allowed to return to the country honourably and play their due role in national politics and added that PPP was ready to give safe passage to the army if true democracy was restored in the country.
He urged upon the party workers to be vigilant about conspiracies against PPP and prepare themselves for the next general elections. He said the government led by Muslim Conference had done nothing for the welfare of the masses and the army of ministers and advisors spent millions of rupees from national exchequer on their lavish life style. He vowed that after coming into power PPP would recover looted money from the corrupt elements in the government.
