Pakistanis coming here for the Umrah have prayed for Allah's kindness to save Pakistani cities and towns from further damage by the earthquake. In the prayers inside the Haram Sharif, the other pilgrims joined Pakistani pilgrims in praying for the relief and succour of those affected by the earthquake in the Punjab, NWFP, Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir and the tribal areas.
Pakistani expatriates working here also made telephone calls to their near and dear ones at home to inquire about their welfare and health.
