Defence Housing Authority is taking a number of measures to contribute towards the national crusade to help the victims of devastating earthquake in the country.
DHA Administrator Brigadier Maqsood Hussain, in a press statement issued on Monday, announced donation of Rs 2.5 million on behalf of Defence Housing Authority in the Presidents' Relief Fund for the Earth Quake Victims.
He also stated that DHA employees from grade 1 to 16 would contribute one-day salary and DHA Officers (grade 17-20) would be contributing two days salary in the President's Relief Fund.
The Administrator reiterated that in this hour of national calamity and catastrophe of great magnitude DHA would spare no effort to do whatever it was possible for the national cause.
The DHA also announced setting up of Special Camps to collect relief goods of all kinds for the earth quake victims. These camps are being established for three days at Defence Authority (DA) Club Ph-II, DA Sunset Club Ph-IV, DA Creek Club Ph-VIII and DA Beach View Club Ph-VI.
Special arrangements have been made to dispatch the collected relief goods to Islamabad by the quickest means possible.-PR
