Fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready-board in upward direction at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed healthy gains amid increase in index. ISE Network index showed an improvement of 84.11 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,897.65 to 11,981.76 points.
The overall volume amounted to 13,30,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 870,700 shares. Total 127 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (81) closed in positive territory, 46 landed in negative zone, while zero company remained pegged to its overnight level.
The volume of OGDCL was 634,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 357,500 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 632,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 419,900 shares. The volume of PSO was 245,00 shares.
