Shayan, a student of primary section, who was kidnapped eleven days back near Makki Hospital Peoples Colony, returned home safely, here Friday night, after payment of rupees five million.
According to details, six-year-old Shayan, a student of Class II, was kidnapped from Peoples Colony by three armed men while he was going to school in a car along with his cousins. Shayan was taken to a house of a Dhudiwala and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 200 million for his release.
Shayan's father Ayaz, owner of a weaving unit, Mubashir, lodged a complaint with Peoples Colony Police Station, but the police did not take any notice.

According to the plan, Shayan's relatives reached Jaranwala road, where the kidnappers along with Shayan were waiting. However, after the payment of rupees five million, the kidnappers released Shayan.
According to police, they watched this scene and when the boy was released, appeared on the scene and challenged the kidnappers and after overpowering them.
